SOMERVILLE (CBS) – Laurel Terrace is a steep, narrow side street and with snow it can be very slippery.
Wednesday morning, a car struck a home on the street.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Carl Stevens reports
“I just came out of the house and saw a car coming down the street and it slid into the house,” neighbor Brian McDonald told WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Carl Stevens. “It was probably going a little bit too fast and the road still hadn’t been plowed.”
It took crews about an hour to tow the car and reopen the street after it was treated with sand and salt.
There was no word on injuries or if the driver will be cited.
