CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire’s House is considering giving control over social media accounts to the executor of the person’s estate after the account holder dies.
The House Judiciary Committee holds a hearing Tuesday on legislation that gives the executor or administrator of the estate the power to take control of the accounts, continuing them or terminating them.
The measure would grant control over social networking websites, blogging or text and email accounts.
