Twenty-four-year-old Patrick Cardoso Lopes; 24-year-old Paulo Pires Depina; and 22-year-old Aderito Lopes Deandrade, all of Brockton, were arraigned Monday on charges including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer.

The men were released on $1,000 cash bail each, and are due back in court on March. 1.

The 14-year-old boy's name was not released because of his age.

What was supposed to be a happy event turned violent Saturday night. It took 20 police officers almost an hour to calm things down.

Police say at about 11:30 p.m., an unwanted group crashed the party and a fight broke out, then another and another.

By the time police arrived, the entire second floor was one big fight including men and women and in the middle of it, were children.

"It was chaotic, to say the least, " said Stoughton Police Lt. Bob Devine, "our officers couldn't believe there were kids in danger, and no one seemed to care. We even had one officer climb on a table, asking parents to remove their children, but everyone ignored him."
