Howling Winds

Were you woken up by the howling winds overnight? Winds were gusting up to 50mph in some interior neighborhoods. Gardner and Brookline reported gusts of 50+mph earlier this morning. The wind will slowly diminsh throughout the morning, but it will continue to gust up to 25mph through midday. It will be a sunny day with highs still running above normal in the lower to middle 40s.

Friday will be sunny initially before the clouds work into New England. These clouds are associated with a warm front. There will be showers developing in the evening and continuing Friday night. There will be an outside chance that there could be a wintry mix for the higher elevations of central Mass. as well as NH. Highs will be in the 40-45F range.

Saturday will have a murky start before brighter skies return in the afternoon. Highs will be around 50F.

A spring-like feel will be in the air on Sunday! It will be mostly cloudy with the potential of reaching 60 degrees! However, most areas will be in the 50s by mid-afternoon. The Pats game is looking like it will be dry but cloudy. Temps will be in the 50s for kick-off. The showers will most likely hold off until Sunday night.

'Winter' will return from its hiatus later next week.

The weekend is within arms reach! :)
