FOXBORO (CBS) – There’s a massive snow removal operation going on at Gillette Stadium ahead of Sunday afternoon’s game.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Kim Tunnicliffe reports
Eighty plows, front-end loaders and Bobcats worked overnight to move the snow off the field.

Nine inches fell overnight.
Vice President of Operations Jim Nolan said they were lucky on two fronts.

“The timing of the storm ending around midnight coupled with the NFL moving the game back to 4 p.m., that gave us a much bigger window to get the job done,” he said.
In the stands, 400 people shoveled the snow into chutes where it is collected and hauled away.
