PEABODY – A 24-year-old man was allegedly drunk and dressed in full firefighter gear when he was arrested on Sunday in Peabody, according to the Daily Item of Lynn.
An officer reportedly spotted Kasey Donovan, 24, Goffstown, N.H. walking on Central Street dressed in the gear.
The officer questioned Donovan, whom he did not recognize, according to the report. Donovan claimed he found the gear in a park.
The officer got in touch with Deputy Fire Chief Eric Harrison, who confirmed the gear had gone missing from the basement of fire department headquarters.
Donovan faces burglary and theft charges.
