BROOKLINE (CBS) – Author Dennis Lehane is asking for the public’s help after his dog jumped the fence in Brookline Monday.
Lehane, who has written “Gone Baby Gone” and “Mystic River,” says he will reward whoever finds his dog by naming a character after them in his next book.
On his Facebook page, Lehane wrote that his beagle, Tessa, “has been roaming through the wilds of Coolidge Corner for the last 24 hours. It’s possible she’s staying in some good Samaritan’s home right now or has tucked herself away on a porch.”
Tessa is a black and tan beagle and is micro-chipped but her tags were off when she got loose.
Anyone who finds her can contact Lehane’s Facebook page.
