Jaguars' Jones-Drew Out vs. Patriots

BOSTON (CBS) - Not that there are many Jaguars the New England Patriots will have to worry about on Sunday, but that small list got even smaller on Friday.

On Friday, the Jaguars ruled running back Maurice Jones-Drew out for Sunday's matchup due to a lingering foot injury. It will mark the ninth straight game Jones-Drew has missed this season.

Despite missing half the season, Jones-Drew still leads the Jaguars in rushing yards with 414.

Rashad Jennings, his normal back-up, is also likely out with a lingering concussion. That would leave the running back duties to Montell Owens, who started last week against the Dolphins and racked up 47 yards on 11 carries.

The seventh-year player out of Maine has 167 yads and one touchdown on 32 carries this season. His best effort of the season came two weeks ago when he ran for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Tune in to Sunday's Patriots-Jaguars game at 1pm on WBZ-TV and 98.5 The Sports Hub. Pregame coverage begins on 98.5 with Patriots Preview at 10am, followed by three hours of postgame coverage after the game. WBZ-TV kicks off their coverage at 11:30am with Patriots GameDay, followed by Bill Belichick and Tom Brady's postgame press conferences on Patriots 5th Quarter after the game.
