Gil And Gino (98.5 The Sports Hub)
BOSTON (CBS) – For the last 36 years, Gil Santos has been the voice of the New England Patriots over the airwaves.
Santos and his former broadcasting partner, Patriots Hall of Famer Gino Cappelletti, had the call for some of the most memorable moments in Patriots history; from the tuck rule to their dramatic Super Bowl wins in 2001, 2003 and 2004.
Cappalletti retired following the Super Bowl in 2012, and Santos will do the same after this season. So over the holidays, 98.5 The Sports Hub will honor the dynamic duo with a special look back at their amazing broadcasting careers together.
“Gil and Gino Behind the Mic” will air on Christmas Eve at 6pm, and again on Christmas Day at 9am and 4pm on 98.5 The Sports Hub, bringing listeners inside the broadcast booth.
Tune in as Gil and Gino discuss everything from the Bill Parcells and Drew Bledsoe era, to Tom Brady’s rise, Bill Belichick’s genius, and, of course, the Super Bowl championships!
