Sunshine At Your Doorstep

There are plenty of clouds as you wake up this morning, but there will be breaks of sun amongst the clouds today. There will also be a slight chance of a few raindrops/snowflakes this morning for the NH Seacoast and for Eastern Mass. as a trough is spinning around the low pressure center. Highs will be in the lower to middle 40s today. Winds will be very active from the NNW as they gust as high as 30mph.

Thursday will be sunny for the most part besides the clouds that start to roll in later in the day. Highs will be in the lower 40s.

A strong cold front will barrel through New England on Friday bringing heavy rain from Friday morning through the middle part of the afternoon. It will be a windy day with highs near 50F before the cold air works in for the weekend.

This weekend before Christmas will be colder with highs in 30s. There will be a few snow showers on Saturday as an upper level low rotates around New England. This is music to many ears as the Holiday is quickly approaching and we have been snow free. Sunday will be brighter, cooler, and still run the chance of a few flurries.

Here is the sneak peek at the Holiday forecast --- Christmas Eve day will be a sunny day with highs in the middle to upper 30s. Christmas Day will be a quiet day overall with highs near 40F. Models have a different scenario setting up for the Holiday. The GFSx has a frontal boundary bringing a chance of a rain/snow mix by the evening of Christmas Day. The EURO keeps the area completely dry for 24 hours longer...until Wednesday evening.

***2 days until---the Winter Solstice.
