TAUNTON (CBS) – Taunton police say they have been able to identify a young girl who wandered away from her home, and have located the child’s mother.

Earlier, officials posted on the department’s Facebook page that the young girl was found barefooted in her pajamas this morning wandering down a Taunton street.

It appeared that Facebook commenters were able to identify the mom.

Police have not commented on the circumstances surrounding the situation.
