WEST BRIDGEWATER (CBS) – A home that was being built in West Bridgewater caught fire Friday night, leaving only a burned out shell Saturday.
The structure on Pleasant Street, which was unoccupied and under construction, caught fire Friday night.
The State Fire Marshal will only confirm that his office was investigating the cause of the fire.
But local officials told residents that they are looking into whether the fire may have been arson and whether it may have been connected to other unsolved fires in the area.
There have been at least 19 other suspicious fires south of Boston in the past two months.
