NEWTON (CBS) – Newton police are warning residents after a suspicious incident near the Bigelow Middle School.

Around 3 p.m., two middle school girls told police a short, skinny man around 55 years with white hair, glasses and “funny looking teeth” was following them.

The man was wearing glasses and a blue jacket. He was leaning against a gold Honda SUV as they walked by him at the corner of
Waverley Ave. and Vernon Street.

The girls reported that man got in his SUV and was “staring and smiling” at them as he rolled past them.

Anyone having any information on the man is asked to contact the Newton Police Department.
