MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) – A Manchester, New Hampshire dry cleaning business is going to have some major cleaning up to do after a car crashed through the building Thursday.
The car plowed through the front of A&A Cleaners on Hanover Street, and didn’t stop until it hit the back wall, about 45 feet in.
No one inside the building was seriously hurt, but fire officials say the car, driven by a 73-year-old woman, missed the owner and three workers by inches.
The woman driving the car suffered only minor injuries as well. She was checked out at Elliot Hospital.
Police say the driver had been at the cleaners earlier. She had gone home to get her checkbook before returning.
The crash caused major damage to the interior of the business as well as some structural damage.
