LEXINGTON (CBS) – Two Costco co-workers who have played the lottery together for 10 months have won the $50 million Powerball jackpot.
The Massachusetts Lottery confirmed Rosa DeLeon of Arlington and Reginald LeBlanc of Lexington are the winners.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Mark Katic reports
The ticket for the $50 million Powerball jackpot drawn on Wednesday was purchased at Lexington Shell on Waltham Street.
Mass. Lottery spokesperson Beth Bresnahan said there was just one winner nation-wide.
Lexington Shell will get a $50,000 commission for selling the ticket.
This is the second time a Powerball jackpot was won in Mass. The first was a $25 million jackpot sold in June 2011 in Fall River.
Powerball has been played in the state since Jan. 2010.
