Last week during the first day of the MLB winter meetings the Red Sox agreed to a three-year, $39-million deal with catcher/first baseman Mike Napoli. Fast forward a week and now we are hearing there might be a problem with the deal.
Napoli was supposed to be introduced at a Fenway Park news conference Tuesday. Did his physical, that took place Tuesday, turn up something unexpected?
