Green Line trolley
BOSTON (CBS) – A long-awaited project to extend the MBTA Green Line northbound into Somerville and Medford kicked off on Tuesday.
Local officials attended the groundbreaking on phase one of the $1 billion project that is expected to carry 45,000 people a day by 2030.

Six new stops will be created which is scheduled for a 2020 completion date.
