Godzilla shows up on the radar… in the form of rain.

BOSTON (CBS) – What may have looked like light rain to most peopled appeared to be more like something out of a movie to one WBZ-TV viewer on Monday.

That viewer, Sean Murphy pointed out to the WBZ-TV weather staff that the radar appeared to show an image of Godzilla looming over the state.

Murphy pointed out in his email to WBZ-TV, “Godzilla is heading directly toward tonight’s Pats game!”

There were a number of reports of serious damage occurring at Gillette Stadium, but it turned out the Patriots were the ones inflicting it on the Houston Texans.

There were no confirmed sightings of Godzilla on the ground, and the radar has since cleared.
