BOSTON (CBS) – With talks between NHL owners and the NHLPA broken off, the NHL has cancelled more games on Monday.
The NHL will scratched another two weeks off the 2012-13 season, cancelling games through December 30.

The total number of games lost to the lockout is now at 526 – 42.8 percent of the season.
There is still some hope that a portion of the season could be saved, given the league only cancelled another two weeks. Labor negotiations are expected to start up again later this week.
The players and owners were close to a deal last week, but negotiations broke off Thursday when the two sides could not come to an agreement on the length of the new CBA and player contract lengths.
