2 Charged In Waltham Home Invasion, Kidnapping, Shooting

WALTHAM (CBS) - A Watertown man is facing home invasion, kidnapping, attempted murder and other charges after an incident in Waltham Friday night.

Police say Andre Laventure, 26, and another man forced their way into a home on Lake Street to initiate a fight.

Laventure allegedly pulled a gun and held three people at the home against their will while assaulting and robbing them.

The three victims took off running, and police say Laventure opened fire on them.

No one was injured.

Laventure was tracked down in Boston where he was arrested. He faces two counts of kidnapping,
three counts of attempted murder, a charge of home invasion, one for carrying a firearm without a license, and a charge for discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

The man police say was with him, Cameron Fournier, 24, of Chelmsford, is charged with
home invasion and assault and battery.
