New Legislation Could Make Info On Low Level Sex Offenders Public

BOSTON (CBS) - After a disturbing sex abuse case in Wakefield, lawmakers are re-thinking their stance on low level sex offenders.

A new bill is on the table that would allow information of level one sex offenders to be available to the public. It would also require them to re-register every year.

The law comes on the heels of John Burbine's arrest. He is accused of abusing more than a dozen children through a day care service he operated with his wife.
