IPSWICH (CBS) – Two people are facing charges over a boating crash in Ipswich this past summer.
Kelyn G. Harrell, 25, and Derek MacIntyre, 28, both of Ipswich, were charged with driving a boat while under the influence of alcohol and two counts of serious injury and negligence.
At the time of the crash, police said one of the vessels was “unmanned and out-of-control” when it hit the other boat. Three people were injured in the crash.
Witnesses had to jump on board the out-of-control boat to stop it.
Harrell and MacIntyre have both been issued court summonses for December 13.
