Jurors Deliberating In Mattapan Murders Retrial

BOSTON (AP) — Jurors are scheduled to resume deliberations in the retrial of a Boston man charged with killing four people and leaving a fifth paralyzed during a drug-related robbery.

Dwayne Moore is charged with killing three adults and a toddler in the city's Mattapan neighborhood in September 2010. His first trial ended in a hung jury. A second suspect was acquitted.

The jury will take up the case again Thursday.

Moore's lawyer attacked the star witness in the case, Kimani Washington, describing him as a "snake oil salesman" who himself committed the crimes.

The prosecutor said the testimony of Washington and 42 other witnesses prove Moore's guilt.

Jurors from Worcester County were picked for the trial after the defense said publicity made it hard to get an impartial Boston jury.
