Webster Police: Driver 4-Times Limit, Slumped Over In Car At Liquor Store
WEBSTER (CBS) – A man police say had a blood alcohol level nearly four-times the legal limit was found slumped over his steering wheel in the parking lot of a liquor store.
Police were called to the store after someone reported a car “all over the road” and driving without lights on along Thompson Road.
Police say that vehicle was being driven by 53-year-old David Cahill.
Cahill then pulled into Nipmuc Liquors and slumped over his wheel, police said.
That’s where police arrested Cahill and charged him with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Cahill will likely be arraigned on that charge Thursday.
