Lawyers For Couple Charged In Child Abuse Case Say They Will Not Make Bail
PLAISTOW, N.H. (AP/CBS) —The couple charged with abusing and burning the woman's 3-year-old son will likely stay behind bars.
Twenty-three-year-old Jessica Linscott is being held on $100,000 cash bail and her boyfriend Roland Dow was ordered held on $500,000 after their arraignments Monday in Plaistow District Court.

Lawyers for Linscott and Dow said their clients would not be making bail.
Both Linscott and Dow were ordered to have no contact with each other or Linscott's son.
The fugitive couple was arrested at a Florida theme park and were each arraigned on charges in the beating and burning of Linscott's 3-year-old son.
Linscott and Dow, waived extradition on Friday, two days after they were arrested by federal marshals at Universal Studios in Orlando following two weeks on the run.
During the arraignment new details were released about how the couple got to Florida.
According to the prosecution, the couple went to Haverhill then stopped in Boston before heading to New York where they caught a train to Florida.
Dow is charged with first- and second-degree assault.
On Monday, a prosecutor said there are other "troubling signs of abuse" of the boy and more charges against Dow are likely.
The prosecutor said bruises were found on large portions of the child's body.
He and Linscott face multiple charges of child endangerment for failing to protect and get medical attention for 3-year-old James, who remains hospitalized.
