BOSTON (CBS) – A passenger on the T verbally and physically assaulted an MBTA driver on Sunday.

Authorities say that a man in his 50′s yelled at the driver, called her a racial slur, punched her in the arm and ran off.

He was wearing a black coat and pushing a shopping car with computer parts inside.

The incident took place when the trolley stopped at Fenway Station.

If caught, authorities say they will ask that the man be banned from the T, MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said.
