BREWSTER (CBS) – Police have arrested a man whom they believe set a fire that destroyed a Cape Cod church on Friday.
Investigators say 29-year-old Adam Finnegan is charged with arson.
He’s accused of setting a blaze at the Bible Alliance Church in Brewster.
The motive for setting the fire is unclear at this point. Investigators said they have no evidence to suggest this fire may be connected to two other recent fires on the Cape or a string of fires on the South Shore.
Parishioners said Friday the fire won’t shake their faith. They are vowing to rebuild.
