Allegedly Abusive Couple Extradited Back To NH

BRENTWOOD, NH (CBS) - After spending two weeks on the run, a pair of allegedly abusive parents are behind bars and back in their hometown to answer some horrific charges.

Jessica Linscott, 23, and Roland Dow, 27 were arrested in Orlando and transported back to Brentwood, New Hampshire after not contesting extradition charges.

They two will be arraigned Monday in Plaistow District Court.

Jessica's uncle, Ed Linscott, was relieved to hear police had found the pair.

"I am glad they are caught," he said. "I don't want to see innocent people getting hurt."

Authorities say Linscott and Dow left Linscott's 3-year-old son James at a New Hampshire hospital with severe injuries and bruising.

Dow is facing two felonies for allegedly striking the boy in the head, causing traumatic brain injury, and burning the boy's wrists and fingers. Linscott is being charged with failing to protect her child.

Florida authorities say the duo were packed like they were on vacation when they were arrested at Universal Studios in Orlando.
