Government Center T Station To Close For 2 Years During Renovations
BOSTON (CBS) - The MBTA is moving forward on a $90 million plan to rebuild the crumbling Government Center T stop.
The station will be closed for two years during the renovation, starting in the summer or early fall of next year.
The renovations include a state-of-the-art entrance, new platforms and making the station wheelchair accessible.
Federal funds will cover about 80 percent of the project.
