Police: Woman Sexually Assaulted Near JFK-UMass T Stop

BOSTON (CBS) - Police are urging women to be careful around the MBTA station near UMass-Boston after a student was sexually assaulted there in the middle of the day Tuesday.

UMass-Boston Police and MBTA Transit Police say the woman was attacked around 12:30 p.m. in a parking area as she walked toward the JFK/UMass MBTA Station on Sydney Street.

The suspect is described as a white man in mid-20's, about 5-feet-10-inches tall with a heavy build and a scruffy brown beard.  He was wearing light blue jeans, sneakers, and a navy blue hoodie.
