EAST BROOKFIELD (CBS) – Rescue workers saved a rock climber who got stuck in a crevice off Podunk Road in East Brookfield.
Firefighters say the young man tried to scale the face of a cliff but did not have any rock climbing gear. He got stuck on a small ledge about 40 feet up.
East Brookfield firefighters were able to rescue the man by repelling down the cliff and placing a harness on him.
The man was not injured.
