Norfolk Seeks Donations To Help Dog Whose Owner Was Arrested

NORFOLK (CBS) – A small dog whose owner was just arrested is in need of help.

The Norfolk Animal Control Department is looking for donations to help Iara.

She’s a six-year-old terrier, who was recovered from a home two weeks ago. She needs bladder surgery to remove kidney stones.

The costs associated with the surgery are roughly $1400 – $1800.

After the operation she will be up for adoption.

Donations may be made out to Town of Norfolk Animal Gift Account and mailed to Norfolk Animal Control c/o Norfolk Police Department, 117 Main Street, Norfolk, MA 02056. Walk in donations will be accepted as well through the dispatch center.
