BOSTON (CBS) – Dr. Paul Raia has directed patient care and family support at the Alzheimer’s Association for more than twenty years. He is joined in studio by Mary Demakes, who has been a nurse specializing in geriatric care and Alzheimer’s disease for over thirty years. November is National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, and the pair sits down with Dan to talk about this well-known but often misunderstood disease.
