DOUGLAS (CBS) – Police are investigating the death of a hunter in Douglas.

The 56-year-old man was found by other hunters in the woods off West Street on Monday.

The exact circumstances of his death remain unclear. Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. says the death appears to be non-suspicious.

This was the first day of shotgun hunting season in Massachusetts.
