NANTUCKET (CBS) – Nantucket is about to kick off its 39th annual 2012 Christmas Stroll. It will take place on Nantucket from November 30 through December 2.

The Stroll is part of Nantucket Noel, which starts right after Thanksgiving and runs through December 31, 2011.

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on Saturday, December 1st via Coast Guard vessel and are paraded through the streets by horse and carriage before a meet and greet with eagerly awaiting children.

Mark Snider, owner of the Nantucket Hotel & Resort, visited WBZ-TV on Sunday to talk about the event.
