Engine Fire On JetBlue Flight From Boston To Baltimore-Washington

BALTIMORE (CBS) – Passengers on board a JetBlue flight from Boston to Baltimore are safe after a small engine fire broke out shortly after the plane landed.

Flight 1329 had just touched down at Baltimore-Washington International Airport around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday when the fire was reported.

The flames were quickly extinguished and passengers were evacuated from the plane.

CBS affiliate WUSA in Washington, DC is reporting that the fire was not expected to cause any flight delays at the airport.
