Uneventful, peaceful, calm.

Whatever adjective you prefer, we are going to glide through this Thanksgiving week with nearly “no bumps along the road.”  We couldn’t ask for better weather during a holiday week!

Check: Current Conditions | Weather Maps | Interactive Radar

Today will be mostly sunny north and west of Boston while southeastern Massachusetts will have more clouds due to a coastal storm well offshore.   We will have high temps in the 45-to-50 range along with a light northeast breeze.

Tuesday will include filtered sunshine as well as high temps near 50.  Wednesday will be a great day for travelHigh temps will once again hover around 50.

Thanksgiving Day will be sun-filled with highs near 55. Let’s give thanks for a lovely holiday forecast like that! :)

‘Black’ Friday will also be a quiet day with sunshine and highs in the middle to upper 50’s. Will you be taking the challenge and kicking-off the holiday shopping season?

This weekend will start with temps in the 50’s on Saturday with a sharp drop in temps on Sunday behind a strong cold front.  The exact timing is still ‘up-in-the-air’, but both the EURO and GFSx models show a slight chance of a few showers on Saturday followed by a few snowflakes possible on Sunday.

***Night Sky Observers: Here’s a detailed look at this week’s night sky.

***Extra Tidbits:  Average highs this week are anywhere from 49-to-51 degrees.  Thanksgiving Day will have 9 hours and 29 minutes of daylight.
