The telephone pole was damaged, and Gomez’s BMW was left twisted after rolling over 100 feet, the Tribune reported.
“We have at least one witness who believes the car may have been drag racing with a green Honda,” Police Chief John Romero told the Tribune.
Police are still searching for the other vehicle, and are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
