One Last Thing: Family Van Helps Make Boston Neighborhoods Healthier

BOSTON (CBS) - Many take seeing a doctor or a health care professional for granted, but Harvard Medical School is working to change that with The Family Van.

The Family Van was founded by Nancy Oriol. It's a mobile health program staffed by volunteers who provide free health screenings to neighborhoods in Boston.

The van visits places in Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, East Boston and Hyde Park.

They'll check your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar.
