BROCKTON (CBS) – In spite of hundreds of police interviews and a lengthy investigation, the mother of missing teen Jennifer Fay has few answers.
Fay went missing Nov. 14, 1989 as she walked just a couple of blocks from her home to a friend’s house.
Each year her mother Dorothy MacLean holds a vigil and retraces her daughter’s last steps.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Karen Twomey reports
“I hope someone is going to come up to me and say this is where she is or even send an anonymous letter to the newspaper, whatever, I got to bring her home,” she said.
MacLean said to this day, she believes someone in the neighborhood knows what happened to her daughter.
“Keep a close eye on your kids because you just never know,” MacLean said.
The vigil will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at St. Edith’s Church in Brockton.
