OXFORD (CBS) – Two people were killed in a crash Saturday morning in Oxford.
Police 26-year-old Tyler Menard of Oxford was driving down Route 12 around 2:30 a.m. when he veered off the road and slammed into a telephone pole.
The impact of the crash snapped the pole in half.
Menard and his passenger, 21-year-old Amanda Riopel, also of Oxford, were both killed. According to their Facebook pages, the two had been in a relationship for four years and had a two-year-old son together.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
