MELROSE (CBS)- Police are trying to catch an armed robber suspected of hitting at least four businesses north of Boston in the past two weeks.

The suspect robbed convenience stores in Melrose, Stoneham, and Winchester, along with a tanning salon in Stoneham.

One of the store clerks, Bikrand Ssarma says the man pointed a gun right at his face.

He was wearing a ski mask so i can see his eyes.
ssarma was robbed in less than a minute.

“He had a gun and pointed it at me,” Ssarma said. “Give me the money.”

Police are hoping to catch the suspect before he strikes again. He’s described as a white man about 5’8” tall, wearing black pants with two stripes down the side.
