ALLSTON (CBS) – A surprise concert by Aerosmith is scheduled to be performed in the streets of Allston on Monday.
While the free show will be exciting for fans, it could be a nightmare for commuters.
Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Commonwealth Ave. will be closed between Harvard Ave. and Allston St.
Additionally, temporary parking restrictions will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Both sides of the inner roadways on Commonwealth Ave. will be tow zones between Harvard Ave. and Allston St. Both sides of Long Avenue and Spofford Road will also be tow zones from Commonwealth Ave. to Glenville Ave.
The MBTA also expects service to be affected by the concert. Green line service will be interrupted from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Washington Street and Packards Corner.
