Logan Parking (File)
BOSTON (CBS) – Travelers returning to Logan Airport who were stranded out of town by Hurricane Sandy are getting a little relief.
Massport says travelers will still have to foot the bill for the time they were supposed to be away, but they can apply for refunds on extra parking fees that they incurred as a result of flight delays and cancellations.
Customers will have to pay the full fee when they pick up their car.
From there, they need to email Massport at sandyparkingrefunds@massport.com and request a rebate form.
Passengers have until the end of the month to mail in that rebate form with a copy of their original itinerary, their rescheduled airline ticket and a copy of their parking receipt.
