With the World Series now over we can really focus on what the Red Sox will do to get better. There are plenty of issues that need fixing and holes to be filled.
Jon Heyman joined the Gresh & Zo show to discuss the San Francisco Giants winning their second championship in three years and what moves the Sox could make this offseason.
One move that could be done soon is the re-signing of David Ortiz. It’s been reports that the Sox are close to a two year deal with the DH. Is this a good move?
Another move that people think will also get done is the re-signing of Cody Ross. The outfielder is entering free agency, but the belief is that the Red Sox will retain his services.
The guys also discussed the possibility of acquiring pitching help. The Angels are exploring the possibility of trading starting pitchers Dan Haren and Ervin Santana, could those be possible players the Red Sox would want to grab?
What is at the top of Ben Cherington’s to do list?
