Police: Easton Man Posted Bail With Counterfeit Money

EASTON (CBS) - An Easton man arrested for assault attempted to bail himself out with three counterfeit $20 bills, police told the Brockton Enterprise.

Christopher Ryan Voelker, 22, allegedly used the fake money after being arrested early Sunday morning.

Police say three of the bills had the same serial number.

According to the report, officers found more counterfeit bills in Voelker's possession, including multiple denominations.

He was charged with possession of a counterfeit note, uttering a counterfeit note and larceny under $250.

He was released on $350 bond.
