ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire woman is facing charges after allegedly striking a vehicle, a telephone pole and a pedestrian with her car while driving drunk.
Police say 37-year-old Melody Goodrow of East Rochester was arrested around midnight Friday after she was seen driving with a flat tire and with sparks flying out from under her vehicle.
Officials say they pulled over Goodrow after first receiving several calls from people reporting a hit-and-run driver.
Authorities say Goodrow is accused of hitting a pickup truck, a telephone pole that had to later be replaced and a 25-year-old woman who sustained minor injuries.
Goodrow was released on bail and is due in court Nov. 26 to face drunken driving and conduct after an accident charges.
