Recently let go Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine sat down with Bob Costas on the NBC Sports Network to discuss things that went on during this poor season.

Felger & Massarotti started off discussing an incident that occurred in spring training between Mike Aviles and Bobby V. where the manager made some comments to the shortstop, comments made about Kevin Youkilis early in the season and comments made to Will Middlebrooks.

Bobby V. doesn’t remember one of these events happening though and he was the one who offered up the information at the time. The guys listen to Valentine explain himself on all of these incidents.
