FOXBORO (CBS) — It didn’t look good for Brandon Lloyd on Sunday when he was bent over and being checked my several trainers on the sideline after making a diving attempt at a catch.
However, the Patriots’ receiver said Wednesday that there’s nothing to worry about.
Lloyd told reporters that he’s “fine” but didn’t elaborate much further.
With Lloyd presumably not missing any time due to the injury, the Patriots’ No. 1-ranked offense will try to get back on track on Sunday against the Jets.
Through the first five games of the season, Lloyd has been Tom Brady’s most-targeted receiver, with the quarterback throwing Lloyd’s way 52 times. They’ve completed 34 of those passes for 401 yards and one touchdown.
Lloyd did not appear on the injury report, meaning he participated fully in the team walkthrough.
