CAMBRIDGE (CBS) - The MBTA has released surveillance video showing a Minnesota woman falling onto the tracks and being pulled out of the pit at the Kendall Square T station.

Police say Tamara Woodard, 54, was pulled off the tracks by her husband and bystanders waiting for a train around 7 p.m. Sunday.

In the surveillance video, Woodard seen wearing a white sweater, waits for someone to clear the turnstiles, steps toward the edge of the platform, looks down at something in her hand and falls into the pit.

Five people then jumped into the pit to get her. Three others stood on the edge of the platform and helped pull Woodard out.

Police say Woodard did temporarily lose consciousness but was alert when taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. Woodard told officers she hurt her hips and neck and said she was dizzy.

Police said there was no train coming at the time.
